Jolie’s page:    Ch. V. D. Nacht’s Classic Beaujolais, SH

Jolie is the puppy we kept as our “pick of the litter”, which was a very difficult choice to make (we had an embarrassment of riches to choose from).  She is still named Jolie and lives at home with Mom (Vinia) in Davis, California.  Jolie  began her AKC show career with her first major win of 3 points heading into the more intensive show season.  As a baby puppy, she won a Reserve Best In Show at the IABCA International Shows.  She also quickly picked up the first two legs of her Junior Hunter title completed with 9’s and 10’s, and one of the judges asking if he could take her home!  She completed her JH at eight months, and will continue on with her Senior Hunter training, following in her mom’s footsteps.

Jolie has been a busy girl this year!  After her debut with her reserve to a major at Golden Gate KC, and her first 3 point major at San Mateo KC.  she then went on to two 4 point majors at the two Sacramento Kennel Club shows.

2008 Nationals in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin also proved to be a good outing for Jolie.  She was shown in the 9-12 month class throughout the week, with 3rd place placements in a large Sweepstakes class on the first day. The third day of Nationals saw her taking a 3rd place in a very large (24 pup) 9-12 month puppy bitch class.  She continued in this wonderful rut by taking another 3rd place at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Wisconsin host show.

San Mateo KC - 3 point major

2008 Nationals - 9-12 Sweepstakes

Sacramento KC - 4 point major

Sacramento KC - 2nd 4 point major in same weekend!

After returning from our pilgrimage to Wisconsin, Jolie took a well deserved vacation from the show ring for two months. She celebrated her first birthday and graduated to the 12-18 month bitch classes at the Richmond Dog Fanciers shows the first weekend of August. On Saturday, needing only 4 minor points to finish, Jolie took Best of Winners for her 4th major for 3 points, and on Sunday, she once again went Best of Winners for yet another major, and Best in Sweepstakes, just to add icing to the cake. Jolie completed her championship with FIVE majors!
I’m still dancing on air!!!
